In the times that things are at their darkest your light will shine it's brightest

…. Paradox and polarity weigh heavy on my thoughts this morning… 

  Various random quotes spin through my mind as I ponder the line between extreme opposites - “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”, “After the storm there must be a calm”, “Thin line between love and hate” etc. etc. Things of that nature. What intrigues me the most is that they all indirectly speak of that moment, that paradigm shift that says “I've had enough” and makes a move towards something different, something more, the opposite end of the same situation. But where is that line? That point where things stop being too heavy and become manageable. That same thin line between love and hate, rich and poor, happy and sad, good and evil. If we knew we would all race to cross it. I put to you that if we knew, the line would move and leave us bewildered once again. The more you resist is the harder the lesson will be.

  The beauty is in the unknown. The “struggle” was designed to break you and break you it must for you cannot get to the yolk without cracking the shell. You cannot know how sweet the cake is without first cutting it (or in some other way destroying it's form). This too is the nature of (hu)man. 

  We must embrace the unknown with faith as our staff, hope as our light and grace as our footing for therein lies our growth and destiny. Trust the process.
